       CONSUMER INFO ON CONSTRUCTION COST

Over the past 39  years I have seen the cost of housing triple in cost.   WHY?  What is causing the price of houses to skyrocket so? 

THE REASONS ARE:

a.  cost of CITY FEES & PERMITS ---and running back and forth

b.  duplicate permits required by subs  

c.  "tap fees”  charged by the City to hook into a water or sewer 

d.   dump fees to remove debris from job site [City Landfills fees]

e.   land cost 

f     sales & property taxes

g.   Water/Sewer Tap Fees [$65 water meter cost=City Fee- $1,800. ]

i.    Fuel Cost

                        .19cents per gallon

Gasoline in Saudi Arabia is now .19 cents per gallon.  The KING of Saudi Arabia enjoys the protection to his billions by the United States Military yet HE sets the price of our oil !  HOG WASH!    We need to set the price for it is obviously a “matter of national security”.    If  all workers are broke, everything else is all talk and meaningless.   Printing up and passing out $300 & $600 checks and sending them out to us thur Social Security is like throw crumbs from the table. What good it is, it will all go into the gas tanks and on to EXXON?  .  Everyone knows we are in the grip and control of the oil companies and their insatiable GREED    FUEL COST can be set by the U.S. Military.   At one dollar $ PER GALLON with “price controls” but….. we lack a leader with the balls to do it.  FUEL COST is now far past the threshold of affecting NATIONAL SECURITY.

Builders COST + PLUS INTERESST =  4 times to your house payment

RAISES THE PRICE OF THE HOUSE PAYMENT.

FIGURE THIS: If it costs $5,000 more for me to build, then I pass that $5,000 on to you, the buyer.    When you include the 30 year interest on your mortgage --it cost you additional over $20,000.00!

     ALL BUILDERS COST ARE PASSED ON TO THE BUYER

That is why it is silly and beyond ignorance for any Govt to TAX any CONSTRUCTION MATERIALS or TOOLS.   When we allow our government to tax building materials or supplies at Home Depot or McCoy’s, we just raised the price of our house payment.

Many would argue that "the rich are getting a free ride and we must tax  businesses";  hog wash.     Most Construction  businesses in TEXAS are small businesses owned by a family.    In the USA all small businesses employ 86% of all USA workers.    You will never reach the ultra rich by attacking your neighbors.    The WAL-Marts, ENRONS and BANK OF AMERICA are your targets not your neighbors.

          You may complain about "all the millionaires not paying taxes".    HELL........you can't touch those people.  No one can.   THE "super rich" they have a Free RIDE.   You may touch them with a Luxury SALES TAX  but they will find a loop-hole.   LEAVE THEM ALONE!!   ONLY JESUS can raise the dead.    If we   hire an audit accountant...they hire 10 more to muddy the water.   Move on.

They will "out lawyer you".    The FAT CATS.....the  top 3 percent of the people in this country are "untouchable".   Sad but true.  They're greedy Bastards who can and do …”get away with murder”.   FORGET ABOUT UM.   We have bigger fish to fry.

I have actually seen a Doctor pick up the tip that I left on the table for a waitress!@!!    The Dr said…..”they don’t need all that money”. 

Best thing to do turn your back on the super rich.  Leave them to wallow in their money.   Keep your damn money!   David Rockefeller said when he was ask about the poor people…….”what do you care---worry about yourself--- take care of your own family---forget about them”.

Families need a house.  WE DO NOT NEED to be adding more to the cost of CONSTRUCTION so bankers have more to finance and collect higher payments from our blood & sweat.
